Known as the Hudson Valley’s living room, Accord Social brings together generous food, great drinks, comfortable lounge seating, a self-pour drinks wall, and plenty of room to settle in and stay a while.
Accord Social was created for locals, weekenders, neighbors and visitors alike. It is bright, welcoming and open to all, whether you are joining us for dinner, stopping in for a drink or spending an afternoon on the sofa with nowhere else to be.
Some visits begin with a glass of wine and turn into dinner. Others begin with a quick bite and end with new friends. That is the idea: a place where plans can unfold naturally and everyone can feel at home.

BUILT FOR CONNECTION
IT STARTED WITH A SIMPLE IDEA.
The idea began with owners Leslie Firtell and Michelle Morgan, who fell in love with the area long before they imagined opening a restaurant here.
After more than a decade of calling the Rondout Valley home, they kept returning to the same thought: the community deserved a welcoming place where people could come together.
So they built one from the ground up.
Inside, dining tables, lounge chairs and sofas offer plenty of ways to make the space your own. The self-pour drinks wall invites guests to explore and sample at their own pace. Outside, the lawn creates even more room for gatherings, events, games and good times.

Executive Chef Ric Orlando brings his bold, modern approach to Italian cooking to the Accord Social kitchen. His menu is vibrant, generous and globally influenced, with dishes designed to share and enjoy together.
Come for pasta, rotisserie favorites, boards and seasonal plates. Order a little of everything for the table or keep your favorite dish all to yourself. There is no wrong way to gather here.

THE SPIRIT OF ACCORD
Nestled in the heart of the Hudson Valley, Accord has always been more than just a town; it’s a meeting place, a crossroad of stories, and a home for connection. Founded in the 1680s by a diverse group of settlers, it was built on the spirit of inclusivity and community that still defines it today.
From its early days as a farming hub to its transformation into a lively destination along the Delaware and Hudson Canal and the New York, Ontario & Western Railway, Accord has thrived as a place where locals and visitors come together. Even our name tells a story. When leaders couldn’t reach an accord on what to call the town, they humorously settled on “ACK-ord.” The meaning stuck. Unity, harmony, and a shared table.
Accord Social carries that tradition forward. We’re Hudson Valley’s living room, a place where great food and drinks and friendly faces make everyone feel at home.
